2017 STRIVE Recipients

Recently the Rotary Club of Summerside handed out eight STRIVE scholarships to eight deserving Three Oaks Senior High school graduates. In the picture are Neil MacLean representing Provincial Auto Parts, members of the STRIVE committee and five of the recipients: Chloe Hunter, Brae Delaney-Smith, Marissa Dawn-Profitt, Lauryn Reeves and Madison Wood. Missing from the photo are Ashley Stewart, Gabrielle Richard and Mary Ann Pham.

In previous years five scholarships were handed out, however due to successful fundraising efforts and the continued key support of our sponsor, NAPA Provincial Auto Parts, we were able to increase the amount to eight scholarships this year, for a total of $6500.

 

In the picture below, Rotary member Paul Power, chair of the Mardis Gras curling tournament committee, is presenting Neil MacLean with a gift of appreciation for all of the generosity provided over the past few years.
